Living Now - Hunkpapa

We say

It’s been nearly ten months since we last featured Northern Irish band Hunkpapa and their sublime brand of Springsteen-esque stadium rock. Having received praise from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, Indietronica and Hotpress, as well as radio plays from Radio 1 (Phil Taggart/Huw Stephens), Radio X (John Kennedy), Amazing Radio and BBC Radio Ulster, the lads are back with this blast of rock goodness. Drawing on the anthemic songwriting nature of the Killers, the spirit of the Boss and a touch of Irish folk, Living Now is a highly polished, deeply engaging rock gem. Released yesterday (27 April), expect to see this quickly pick up support across streaming platforms rock playlists and perhaps some new release programming too this Friday (it deserves it). The group, who earlier this year supported Supergrass at the Ulster Hall and sold out their 500 cap Belfast show in autumn, are looking for a booking agent to help them secure future shows for when lockdown ends.
